Painted Through Glass

A world painted through the unique experience of Google Glass

The buying expirence!!!

I sat on my purchase for several days. Every night agonizing over the decision to actually make the purchase. I couldn’t back out at this point, I had already bought my dpmain names, and made business cards. I had backers & sponsors who have already invested in my vision.

I decided to make the plunge and order my glasses. I spent 10 minutes staring at each page taking in the realization that yes I was in fact one of the elite chosen. That google asked for creative and artsy types. They asked us what would we do with glass? Well I said I’d do an art installment…. so this is my first step.

Part of my hesitation was also about what color I wanted. For the sake of keeping them clean I was thinking about shale or charcol. How ever with both of those colors I was afraid that they would actually make my light milky skin look even more pallor.

My original idea was to choose cotton aka white, despite the concerns of it showing dirt/grime easily; (which I ended up going with in the end). Being that I am doing an art installment, I choose the cotton because it would show off my art. YES I am going to hand paint my google glasses at some point. I am thinking about pin striping them. However this is pending what my #glassguide advises me when I do pick them up.

My pick up date has been moved to the 13th of July(originally the 11th). I have currently scheduled to possibly meet some other glass users on that date. It will definetly be nice to get a view from other users. I want to see what people are going to do with them. Me I just want to use them to agument my own art & help other artists!
